if you like brown sashimi, this place is for you! we had business executives visiting from japan and i was very clear when i made the reservation, that this was an important event. we ordered several dishes including two sashimi dishes. while all of the pieces looked much less than fresh, the tuna pieces in particular were particularly bad. there was the normal pink color around the edges, but the biggest portion of the surface of the meat was brown. i asked the waitress what she thought of the unusual color, but she would only tell me that the chef said it was normal. none of the six of us at the table including 5 japanese nationals agreed with her statement. we decided to move our dinner to another japanese restaurant in the dublin area and i discussed the situation again with the waitress and with the manager. despite my complaints, not only were we charged the full price, an 18% tip was included in the price. i have never seen a restaurant ignore there own issues so fully. clearly, we will never spend another dollar or moment in this restaurant.
