inexpensive and consistently good. this cafe is a great place ot find very good vietnamese sandwiches and prepared diner dishes at anytime of the day. best time to arrived is after 9 am when all the prepared meals have been made for the day and are still fresh and hot. the mini-baguettes are the best for sandwiches made at home. crunchy crust and soft interior. they have a deli where you can buy ingredients to take home to make your own meal. the spring rolls are reasonably priced and the pork and garlic filled fried dumpling are to die for. my favorite is the prepared grilled pork with vermicelli noodles that also have plenty of fresh uncooked vegetables to include, cilantro leaves, pickled daikon radish, sliced cucumbers, pickled sliced onion, sliced jalap pepper and a small cup of fish sauce. i have never been crazy about the vietnamese desserts so i can't help you there. but i can say that their vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk on ice is a real treat. you stand in line to order which usual moves quickly. i have been coming here for the last 6 years and they keep on make improvements' to the interior. place is clean enough for a restaurant that never closes. easy to get to and friendly enough.
