expencive mediocer food.the food is way over priced for what you get. and the menu is awful! do they even have a specialty? in my mind they strike me as an over priced perkins, or bob evens. they have a little bit of everything on their menu but it is all just "okay".

absolutely the worst meal i've had recently. from the host greeting and seating us, it should have been a warning. he didn't know if there was a fish special of the day, when it was displayed that talapia was featured. after placing our order and waiting for the food to be brought to the table, i was dodging gnats at the table and heard something flying to find a stink bug had landed on our table. my guest and i both mentioned to the waiter that there were bugs and he shrugged, saying they probably came from the bar. i don't like to create a scene in a restaurant and didn't complain about the food. i ordered pasta with chicken with a mushroom sauce and caeser salad, my friend order the lime salmon with cole slaw and squash casserole. the pasta was bland and tasteless, the salad was edible. my friend ate less than half his salmon, saying he'd had better and the squash casserole was left uneaten after taking one bite, he ate the cole slaw. needless to say, i will not return and recommend diners find another place to eat. if there was a score less than 1 i would have given aubrey's a 0!! oh yes, this meal cost $49.00

this was the second time that i have eaten at aubrey's, and it certainly didn't disappoint me! we went to celebrate my mom's birthday. my mom got a tossed salad with blue cheese dressing, catfish with a lemon caper tarter sauce and a baked potato. i looked over the menu, and while many things looked tempting, i went back to what i had the first time: a filet mignon with sweet potato fries. it was perfect. the cook on the steak was exactly as i had asked. i can't go anywhere and get a perfect filet mignon anymore. the sweet potato fries were also great. i had mentioned that it was my mom's birthday, and they let her pick any dessert for free. she got the key lime pie, and it was delicious. this place is doing it right, all of it! if you've never been here before, try it out! you won't be sorry.

it is my favorite restaurant in cleveland. i like everything i've ever tried. the squash casserole is my favorite side. i love the strawberry salad, & the pizza rockafella is to die for.

had a slight issue getting seated in order, but that wasn't a big deal they were totally packed, and it was standing room only in the waiting area. the manager evidently knew what happened and once we were seated he came and told us that he was going to give us a dessert on the house. when it was time to pay when we asked the waiter for the check and said we had a coupon. and he then told us that the manager and taking care of our entire meal due to the issues we had getting seated, in this situation and apology was enough but he went the next step.... or two and he has won our loyalty to aubrey's. also of note the manager was very genuine and congenial unlike most, that is customer service at it's best to us.

general chain restaurant food for a somewhat steep price, but good nonetheless. their fried chicken is very good, especially when couple with oil.

local places with multiple locations usually means they're doing something right.  so, we often try them when traveling and that's what brought us to aubrey's on a recent trip.  it's an interesting place, occupying a segment between fern bar casual and upper level steak house, with elements of both.  i think they're pulling it off well, and judging by the crowds, others think likewise.  like fern bars, the place is large with the bar separate from the dining room.  it's family friendly with laminate tables (no tablecloths like a steak house would have) well lit with big colorful art hanging.  but, like a finer dining establishment, there aren't tvs everywhere and no loud music.  also, they have an open kitchen grill going so you can see your food being prepared.  service is great.  lots of servers who take their job seriously.  love to tip people like this.  the grilled tuna sandwich really surprised.  it's a large thick tuna steak with a lemon caper sauce that complements the tuna and doesn't hide it.  very good.  sweet potato fries are full of sweet flavor.  the buffalo version of the fried chicken tenders (a specialty item) could use more heat for my taste, but it was a large serving that went back to the hotel with me for a late snack.  there is a wine list and we just had house chardonnay which fit the food well.  they follow current restaurant trends by being very proud of their wine.  (what ever happened to just a 100% mark up?)  aubrey's is priced higher than fern bars, but they're delivering a better quality product with better service.  i'd go back and recommend it to others.

this place is ok. the food was good but the prices were way over priced for what you get. the servers were all friendly and attentive to our needs....maybe a little too much sometimes. always caught me with my mouth full. was there during the week later in the day and it was pretty empty.

with their prices i dont see myself going more than once every couple of months. but ill give this a positive for the  overall.

have been several times and have yet to get a bad meal. the servers are always very attentive and work hard to make sure you are taken care of. the potato crisps appetizers are really good. i had the cranberry, candied pecans and grilled chicken salad, very good and a very large salad good for sharing between two people.

something different, traveled from chattanooga. we'll definitely come back! came up here from chattanooga for a night away for something different. the boy wanted a good steak, and oh man that's what he got. he loved it! big high five to me for the restaurant choice. i got a chicken salad with cranberries, apples and pecans with their homemade balsamic vinegrete. it was delicious! he had the hawaiian ribeye , and it was phenomenal! and it was huge!
all in all it was a fabulous dinner!

we'll be back. hub's and i went there last week. it was kind of early (before a week night dinner rush). the outside seating area looked fairly full so that seemed like a good sign. inside it was harder to tell as the layout is pretty spacious. i enjoy being able to talk during the meal and not be drowned out by music or other guests. it's what i consider a nice, casual family restaurant. the bread they brought while we ordered was light and airy with a light crust.

i ordered the 14 oz prime rib, medium rare with the parmesan spinach. i rated my meat as fair. it was a tad bland so i asked for horseradish. our waitress was happy to get it and prompt in bring it. the parmesan spinach was great. nice and creamy, not too salty. i was having to fight hub's after i let him try a bite.

hub's ordered the 16 oz rib eye, medium rare. he got a side salad with ranch and the soup of the moment was chicken and mushroom. the salad was a typical side salad. the ranch though was not. it had more of a homemade taste to it with something else i couldn't quite put my finger on. i was dipping bread in the bowl after hub's poured it out on his salad. the soup was also pretty good though i thought the cup was on the small side. his steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. i was a little jealous.

i asked about the desserts and our waitress informed me they were made in house. i settled on the key lime pie. the portion was good, just about sharing size. perfectly tart, sweet and creamy. depending on what else they may have it goes on my exception to the diet list.

over all we both liked it. hub's really liked it. service wasn't bad. our bill came out to about what you'd expect for a higher end steak house. i watched a few different plates go by that i'd like to try. so we'll be going back.

crcii. i absolutely detest this place! it is on my list as the worst place to eat in knoxville! i hate how they try to pretend things are homemade and everything is food service right out of the can and the cheapest quality!
