love!. friendly service, great food! very pretty inside. servers were accommodating. going out to eat with a toddler can be stressful - i had my daughter with me and they were so nice to her!

despite showing up at the place in a party of 12 we had an excellent time, so often a restaurant gets flummoxed by the sheer number of people at the table that both service and food quality suffers but it appears this place knows how to deal with a huge rush. the appetizers were very good, the flat bread was extremely fresh and light, the spreads were nicely spiced & seasoned and the chopped octopus and squid were both very nicely cooked with no hint of rubberiness anywhere to be found.

the fresh fish was very nice but the filleting by the table was a bit slow and ended up with a desiccated fish which was cold and lifeless by the time it ended up on my plate. the claypot items were uniformly overcooked but still tasty, that's the risk you take when the chef can't easily inspect the food as its cooking i guess.

the beer selection was pretty good too witth a sweeting but very nice hawaiian microbrew and a couple others on tap. the ouzo was freepoured and i ended up with 3 oz in my glass instead of the 1 oz they promised. ce la vie.

amazing. me and my wife went for a quick date night and had a great night. staff was friendly, down to earth and honest. food was delicious. appetizer was great and we got the 3-course special which is a good deal and every plate that came out was perfect.

a family and friends favorite. authentic greek cuisine in a friendly, beautiful atmosphere. their fresh whole fish is impeccably prepared. a friend, who loves and knows lamb, always orders it. the service is attentive and competent.

this place was really nice inside and i wasn't expecting it to be so classy. the lighting was dim-perfect for a romantic dinner! the only downside i saw were the placement of some of the tables. we were almost on top of the neighboring couple. too close for comfort! (think: cheesecake factory style.) everything on the menu looked amazing. we started by ordering beverages. chris got a beer (from ny) and i ordered a wine. confession: it was a greek wine. i strayed from the green challenge for the first time since beginning it in october! i figured i rarely go to a greek restaurant, so i ordered some greek wine (there was no ny wine on the menu, otherwise i would have ordered it.) i went with a greek red: agiorg

athos was a good meal, but i didn't think that it was quite as good as the hidden cafe in delmar, ny. athos is also more expensive.

the best greek food in the capital region. go for the calimari, the seminal dish of this restaurant, but stay for the fresh fish, grilled and filet tableside. service is always excellent, as is the premium metaxa and ouzo. i highly recommend the red greek wines. unusual grapes with a fine balance.

athos was recommended by a greek friend. he was right. it is wonderful. the food,service and room were all first class.

this is the best greek restaurant i've found in the area. while it took a long time to eat, the service was great, the people were friendly and the food was fantastic. if you're looking for fine dining at a reasonable cost, give athos a try.

athos. we went with a group of six for dinner! it was absolutely delicous! we had the octopus, warm grape leaves, greek cheeses and the lima beans! all amazing and tasty. for main meals, the dishes went from fresh fish, to chicken and rack of lamb! all delicous, tasty! great service and family friendly atmosphere!
