great little spot. on a recent business trip to dallas i was looking for a good thai spot and found the mint on urbanspoon and other sites with some good ratings, so we gave it shot. what a find!!! overly impressed with the food and service. started out with the mint platter, everything was good, but the summer rolls were fantastic. i had the thai red curry entree and it was spicy but not over the top and very tasty. one of my friends had the crab pad thai and he said it was the best he had. i also had the tom yum which was great, but could have had a little more spice. wine was reasonably priced and a decent selection. the highlight of the evening was laura bush and 4 of her friends were sitting one table over from us. food good enough for the first lady is good enough for me.

two of us called in for carry out. the meal stayed warm throughout the calamari appetizer was very good. two entrees: green basil rice and a rice noodle entree. both were excellent. the service was very good. easy parking. will return.

when i want asian, and feel like a nice meal, this is where i return to.  contemporary décor, with a comfortable and intimate appeal.  the staff are well trained, and i have always had great service and quality food.

menu has a great variety, with an array of appetizers and soups, tasty pad thai, noodle, and stir fry options.  to start, spicy tom yum soup,  steamed dumplings or chicken satay with peanut dipping sauce are all great choices.  i discovered pad thai woon sen here, with clear low carb noodles, and have never turned back to the heavier standard.

tonight i had one of my favorite dishes, the thai chicken lettuce wrap (larb kai), which is perfect for a lighter dinner.  minced chicken , spicy lime sauce, with cilantro, mint, carrot, scallion medley, served with seasonal green leaf wraps.  definitely a unique dish, as are many at this restaurant.

mint has some of the best fried rice in town!!!

i had the pad see yew and really enjoyed it. very flavorful and made to order with spices.

intimate setting. not a large place at all.

we enjoy a nice lunch or dinner here at least once a month.

give it a shot if you are nearby.

boutique prices for chain food quality. great place for a quick and casual mid-week meal. the food lacks the depth and complexity of an authentic thai dish, but it's tasty enough for a convenient meal in a trendy area. the service was good but the tables are uncomfortably close together.

good thai eats. especially good mint platter (chicken satay, dumplings, spring rolls). my favorite dish is asian stir fry with requested ginger sauce added. monthly menu specials are special connotations worth trying. servers always helpful and courteous.

medium. this joint is conveniently located a stone's throw from my place and considering i love thai food, i jumped on it. overall, it was. . . medium. it may be that i recently moved to dallas from houston which has an assortment of amazing thai places, and it may be what i ordered. but all in all, i ended up paying $20 for a $7 meal. weak. . . sauce? ha! get it!? food pun!

best thai in oaklawn!. this very cool restaurant is cozy and hip and luckily for us located in oaklawn! cool blue lighting, marble top tables and close knit seating make this cozy restaurant our new favorite place. ingredients are fresh and the portions generous. try the thai-tini for a fresh take on the martini. slightly sweet and very tasty in pale green with a twist. my favorites so far are the pad thai and ginger chicken and for starters both the seaweed salad and the dumplings are excellent. orange chicken was a disappointment with cloying sweet sauce with no spice over fried white meat chicken. a friendly staff and owner round out this great new hot spot!
