arosso italian restaurant

service is poor. food is slow in making it to the table and then they bring the wrong meal.

we had been several times dining at this place. we hadn't had a bad experience with the food. it is a homemade , usual without any high end presentation. but, i would say most of the food beats a high end places consider to be. ...this is a personal opinion.

we had made the disastrous mistake of eating there.....; the place is very dark and extremely dirty. if it wasn't for the fact we were so hungary we would have left. at our table we had requested one egg plant parm, one chicken parm and one large plain pizza. the chicken parm was so bad it was inedible, the chicken was like rubber, the pasta was under cooked and the sauce was tasteless. the egg plant parm was disgusting and so rubbery it was inedible. the cheese on top was a sloppy mess an barely melted. finally, the pizza had a very limp texture and was extremely chewy.

do yourself a favor and pick up, do not get delivered!!!!. i order from here quite often and today i ordered two pizzas and it took 2 hours to get it. when it did arrive it was cold and they didn't even offer a discount i had to ask for one! they gave a whole whopping $5 off of my cold pizza (wow)! it was still good though,i'll give em that. on a different order the pizza came where the cheese had slid off! if you order from here do yourself a favor and pick it up yourself!

thw best pizza i have ever tasted! so fresh and delicious.

food is good. i really love their soup, it fills you up. could only eat 1/2 cheesesteak & only 2 of onion rings. the one thing i was disappointed in was the cleanest of the place. the whole floor was filthy, and i watched bus girl clean off table by throwing food on the floor. this place could use a facelift. maybe they should contact restuarant impossible. we went at 2:30 pm, so they had plenty time to sweep the floor. there was only one other table there. it makes me wonder what their kitchen is like. as much i enjoy their food, it is important that place is clean.

it was excellent !!!!!. this was the best food i have had in a long time. the whole experience was wonderful. i had veal franchise w/gnocchi. they accommodated me w/gnocchi, because this was not the pasta with this dish. it melted in my mouth, & i will be back soon. the people with me also enjoyed their meals a lot. the portions were large enough to take some home. great service too. only thing i didn't care for, they had tv's. i expect this in sports bars, not italian resturants. hope they stay in business for a long time.

poor delivery. we've ordered from here twice. the first time the food came & it took almost an hour to get to our home (mind you we live 5 min. away) - the 2nd time we ordred we treated my mother to the chicken franchaise dish.... her chicken was undercooked (mine was excellent though) however... again, our food took an hour and 15 min. to arrive and it was luke warm. this is not acceptable.

hopefully they get their stuff together because i feel like the place has potential.

tilapia special. hands down the best byob italian in the area!! best italian in the area with or without a liquor license. 9.6.12 tilapia special - light egg batter with a garlic lemon sauce, to die for!!!

awesome eating!!. arosso's is now going to be my favorite italian restaurant. the food is amazing, delicious, and authentic. the staff is friendly, the service was fast. myself and a couple of co-workers went there on father's day, while everybody else were waiting in long lines for 45 minutes to 1 hour at other restaurants me and my friends went to arosso's and was seated immediately, served just as fast and were enjoying a great! meal. this restaurant is fairly new and may not be well known, but let me tell you "give it a try you won't be sorry".

they have a porcini mushroom & shrimp appetizer with this amazing sauce that is simply undescribable, the house special pasta dish was sooo good and flavorful i couldn't stop eating, i was so stuffed when i left. we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely will be going back.

best itailian in philly burbs. they serve fresh italian dishes at very reasonable prices. the pizza is thin crispy and snaps in your mouth. the meatballs are huge and have fresh roasted garlic in them, they are made from a savory blend of meats not just hamburger. the gnocchi are tossed in alfredo and come with bacon and red peppers. the staff is amazing and the guy behind the counter always thanx his mother for the recipes.

fantastic!. we order from here all the time since we moved into the area. everything we ate from the alfrado with chicken and scallops and shrimp, to the chicken fingers. delivery is fast and driver is friendly!
