had the pleasure of having aromaku for the first time at the beer tasting event at seventh son on thursday. i love the space at seventh son and am so excited that they pair up with great food trucks so you can enjoy a local beer and some wonderful food. i had the rendang, a spicy beef stew with a lot of depth from flavors like lemongrass and coconut milk. you have the option of rice or a roti prata - i went with the latter and definitely recommend it! the prata is like a mix between a chinese scallion pancake and an indian paratha. together with the rendang it was like eating an awesome indonesian taco. my sister got a special - their take on the cincinnati four-way: thin egg noodles, rendang, cheese and green onion. it was also very good (and definitely a step up from skyline chili...). i was too full for dessert but was tempted to try - next time for sure!
