a place to frequent!. this cafe is superb. it stays constantly busy and it is due to the quaility of food. although i agree the front counter can move a little slow at times, it is worth the short wait. they have remarkable salads and i have yet to find any that compare. the salads come in a wide variety and are large in portion ,so two can easily share one. but, the prices are reasonable, so if you want your own salad you should not hold back! the dressings are all homemade in house and are extremely unique. urbanspoon, i must inform and update you. this cafe is neither french or american. not one thing on the menu is either of these. it is a mediterranean cafeand the recipes are authentic i am told, homemade in house from scratch and amazingly fresh! and i have never had bad service at this cafe! final update-the oyster bar at this cafe closed long long ago.
