yummy!. i met some friends here for dinner on a week night, and was taken in by the cozy atmosphere. as i scanned the room, i noticed a lot of first dates going on, and the room was filled with nervous gitters. cute, but a little distracting to a behaviorist.

we had the veggie tempura, and i shared the sushi & shashami platter. it was a great way to taste the different flavors they offered, and i was pleased with the service.

i will definitely go again!

half off rolls all the time. rolls are great. if you like to eat a lot of sushi this is the best in sac especially for the price!!!! free hot tea and prompt service.

awesome food. looking for a semi-cheap delicious meal? go to arigatos! they have the spicy ediname and shrimp as amazing appetizers! they have so much more but i only got to taste these two so far! the benton box is yummy but only when you are not in the mood for sushi. they have great varieties of sushi and it's affordable too! i was able to feed 3 people for 37$. just thinking about their sushi makes my mouth water. while you are there try the spicy johnny, yummy yummy, lucky 7, lion king, sepora, and the caterpillar. get a side of special sauce with that and you'll be satisfied! guaranteed!

will return soon. loved this place. many of the reviews on here are negative, but i decided to go against the thumbs downers, and so glad that i did. went at 4pm on a monday. atmosphere was pleasant, not too loud, and the place was very spacious and looked clean. service was fantastic - got water with lemon wedge served without having to ask! speed at which our rolls came out were ideal...and the rolls themselves were delicious. first time trying raw fish sushi and it was super yummy. best part: 50% off special items for lunch, dinner, and take out!! how can you beat that? i will be returning with a train of friends in tow...hoping the goo experience continue.

this was good too, it was a sushi wrapped in rice paper instead of seaweed.

i have been going to mikunis for years but to be honest they have just gotten half @ss on their rolls and they are so expensive so when my mother and i stumbled apon this restraunt i was willing to give it a try but was expecting to be dissapointed. to my suprise it was fantastic!!! i recomend the aloha roll, its fantastic! i gritted my teeth to prepare for the bill but to my suprise it was cheap compared to the average over priced sushi joint. they have 50% off rolls for lunch so we left satisfied, full and all with getting our wallets raped. lol/sorry but im in awe of this place and deffinitly coming back. the servers seemed nice and helpful too but to be honest i was too busy stuffing my face to care:p place looks really pretty too, deffinitly recomend giving this place a try!

good to be back here in this upscale spot. great fresh fish and they are open all afternoon. this accommodates my early dinner meal time.

wonderful affordable sushi. the atmosphere is nice. the sushi serving are bit small but well the price.

cheap, yummy sushi!. i did not realize that this place existed until after i graduated from sac state, but this is a total cllege hangout. all of the rolls are always half off, making them super affordable for starving students. the best part is you do not have to sacrifice quality. everytime i am in the arden area i try and eat here. the arigato roll is the best!!

not worth trying. i honestly don't know how this place got such high reviews. the food isn't really good at all, and i don't think my standards for sushi are that high. nice atmosphere, but bad food and bad service.

nevermind any bad review... this place deserves a chance. we loved it... nice surprise find (thanks urban spoon). busy but no wait friday night at 6:30pm. great for date night or a quick bite. sushi was ultra fresh. we'll be back.

sigh. not bad, but not so good either. sushi needs to be cut properly, and as other reviews have said this places makes "american sushi" where people think theyre getting a good deal based on how much fish they get for their dollar. well a giant slice of fish on a rice ball that is way too small doesnt make good sushi in my opinion. the rolls werent so bad, i had the csus and it was amazing. aside from being really looud and really crowded, i would go back again, but skip the nigiri

great sushi. fun hip place with nice decor and outstanding service. very creative rolls with outstanding blends of ingredients. really enjoyed the sexy and tnt rolls among others. fresh nigiri, try the escolar and hamachi.
very reasonably priced for the selection.
