best burger i've had in columbus.

i like arch city. this was my 2nd visit. good vibe and i like the open window out front. good beer list, i had the ace pear cider on tap and it was smooth. i had the market burger and it was very tasty. we also had the lobster mac and cheese, it was good. i will repeat. the parking garage that is behind arch city off high st works well, just a short walk, it does fill up though.

arch city tavern  is the latest addition to the burgeoning gastropub scene in central ohio. it makes great use of the space, which is decorated with columbus' signature arches as well as a black and white pencil illustration of the short north from day gone by.  the food and drinks from arch city show a great deal of careful craftsmanship. there isn't really a clunker on the menu by partners komi memushaj and xhevair brakaj. the kitchen produces a few vegetarian starters, pizzas and a portabella sandwich. the bar serves a great selection of taps including options from great lakes, bell's, dogfish head, columbus brewing, four string and 21st amendment, as well as artful cocktails that explode with flavor. the kerr street mule, a modified moscow mule, is made with watershed vodka, roake ginger syrup (a simple syrup made by a bartender in downtown columbus), fresh lime and nutmeg.  the fries are treated with truffle oil and parmesan, served with two different aioli, one a rich, spicy chil

a great spot to stop in the short north. i really liked this place! the owners were friendly, the food was great, the beer list was large, and the cocktails were done right. add in some nice scenery and a pleasant staff and you've got yourself a nice stop in the short north!

this neighborhood’s distinctive streetscape is where columbus got its “arch city” moniker and there’s a bit of history around here that can be appreciated even amid its current, red-hot vibe. it’s quality pub food you have here, and some creative upgrades to it.

shame on the arch city tavern for not telling their patrons, that they will be towed from the parking lot with their name on it. they have paid for two permanent spots for their staff, while they let their unsuspecting customers get towed. the mediocre food was not worth this hassle or expense.

service was very slow and not proactive. ordered the fish and chips...fish was disgusting...i should have sent it back. the french fries were good.

do not eat here.. by far the worst food and service we've ever had. the server talked the whole time to her co workers. we only got one refill the whole night. she was very rude to us and it was our first time being there. the people around us were terrible and very loud too. we will never go back.

it doesn't take much to break me down apparently, and so i asked the server if they're particularly known for anything. with very little hesitation he named one dish: the lobster mac 'n cheese.

came out on a very busy friday night. was told it would be a 45 minute wait so we grabbed a beer to wait. ended up catching a seat at the bar in about twenty minutes. service was excellent even with every seat in the house full. food was equally delicious. overall very impressed with plans to return.

for the last year i've been sad to see miller signs in the windows of this soon to open new restaurant. however, much to my surprise they actually have an excellent draft beer list with no miller or bud in sight. add to that some fun, slightly unique cocktails and lobster mac and cheese which is phenomenal and i think arch city tavern is an excellent addition to the short north.

not good. food is overpriced and just not very good. burger was overdone and not seasoned, pizza was terrible. this place won't last long
