well worth the visit went for dinner had mussels & calamari for entree both were fresh & tasty good portion size, followed with pork belly & black angus steak for main, steak cooked just as asked (med rear) pork belly melt in your mouth only critique would be crackling not enough (one very thin strip) wine recommended matched very well,baked cheese cake for dessert was nice to. great staff all round. would definitely recommend the duck risotto to try. overall very nice would return.

had a fantastic late lunch here today, pizza was absolutely delicious, could live on it!! food came out super quick, fast & friendly service, left very happy. 100% recommend, & will definitely be back!!

amazing. my husband and i had dinner there tonight. every single meal was incredible. faultless. the non-alcoholic cocktail "passion lemonada" is now my new favourite drink. the staff were very friendly and attentive. we can't wait to go back. what a treat. highly recommend to everyone!

i have been there for a take pizza on a monday night. it was really busy and my pizza has been a bit overcooked. i mentioned that to the manager and the customer service has been awesome. i have been refunded and a voucher has been offered to us. it is a lovely place to go, well decorated, large choice on the menu and the manager is really nice.

we went to arborio restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. the antipasto was good even though it only had one piece of fish when it is supposed to be for 2. the main course was inedible. we ordered the chicken pasta with a creamy sauce. it was tasteless and so greasy that we could not eat it. we mentioned this to the duty manager and he just shrugged and gave us the bill. we will not be going back there!!

came to this place as recommended by motel owner and also a friend who previously lived in new plymouth. heard about the 'hit and miss' meals. i think ive got the 'hit' because my seafood linguini tasted really good. however my other colleagues who ordered chicken fettucini and roast pork felt they were just average. great ambience, good service and tentative staff.

my last visit was for breakfast, the food was great. unfortunely i cannot say the same about the coffee, luke warm and the beans had been burnt. when i told the waiter, he picked up the glass to smell it..not taking my word.

eaten there a few times, generally it's great but can be hit and miss, the last time i ate there i took a guest from overseas and we were both disappointed which was a shame.

unbelievably amazing food and service. being a very fussy food critic who often sends food back, i was pleasntly suprised when we ate here. i will definately be taking all family and friends who come for visits

i dined at arborio for the first time this saturday and i must say i was extremely impressed with everything about the restaurant! i had the seafood spaghetti and it was mouth watering. the look of all the other meals look absolutly fantastic as well! beautiful presentation, amazing service, awesome food!

we visited new plymouth several weeks ago and stopped in arborio for dinner. excellent location. the best mussels we've ever tasted before! fast and friendly staff. well done! highly recommended.
