a few years back, i loved this place and ate here nearly every day. a cliche of a greek family owned, cash-only diner that had been in town for years, completely with 1970's era wall art. and they used to have the best, most fabulous hash browns i've every had.
then it changed hands. staff rotated with the change. the menu shifted a bit. and the hash browns became dry, burnt and/or undercooked. i was sad.
i've been back a few times recently and the hash browns have gotten much, much better. not quite as good as they used to be, but close. the food is still diner food, the prices have gone up a bit, and the service is still... well... diner quality service. but this might have returned to being the best breakfast in the area. if you're looking for breakfast, or eggs other than something jammed into a bagel, try ann's.
