it’s about the new atmosphere at andré's confiserie suisse after their renovation. they wanted to “change everything without changing anything.” the bolliers had already done a renovation back in 2014 of the front retail space and this summer they went to work on the back. the goal was to have an updated look but still retain the old world warmth of the former chalet. i think they definitely succeeded – new light wood floors, higher ceiling, no visual or closed off obstacles disguised as tall-backed booths and serving areas.

i have never been to such a place as spectacular and magical as andre's. the place is crowded and i can't see why not. the decorations are as though you are bein transported to another world! the waitwrs are very nice. the display and organization of the sweets and chocolates is very nice! i love the food dearly. i wish i could say more i am just breath taken. ❤️

amazing confectionary shop with very friendly staff. love their cake and macaroons options. always order my birthday cake from this place and everyone just loves it!

such a girly place to go.  went with mom & granddaughter this last time and it was interesting to see the granddaughter's reaction to no cheeseburgers or mac & cheese.  and, of course the dessert is included so the thought process that went into that was mind boggling. lol. personally i've been going with mom for years, it's just such a nice relaxing and really delicious lunch outing.  it's definitely someplace special.

so, i guess i like swiss dining. the sweets are obviously good here as they stare you down before you have a chance to grab a seat for lunch. can't say i've eaten too much swiss food in my past, but i have always enjoyed the food at andre's. simple dishes with loads of flavor.

very poor customer service. my wife called earlier to tell them she was vegetarian. they did not care did even apologize for having any options. this is from the owner

many families have a tradition around visiting specific restaurants, from the chinese restaurant up the block to the greasy spoon that marks the halfway spot on a drive to see relatives. for me
