great food, great price. my husband and i are big fans of amul india. it is a good indian buffet that doesn't cost a fortune. they always have a good variety and the abiity to make chaat. we have eaten at taj palace and it is good but a lot more expensive than amul india.

...a win all around. this buffet has a wide range of foods, something for anyone who likes indian cuisine. the price is right at $9. if the drive wasn't so long, we'd eat here every week...

best indian food in the bus. i love indian food. i'd find myself going to aab india in grandview. aab is good but when an indian friend from work suggested amul, i decided to check it out. wow....excellent. the byriani is fantastic and i love their curry goat. if there's better indian food in columbus, please let me know!

best indian food in ohio, in fact it's up there with the best i have had in the usa. the chicken tikka masala or chicken jalfrezi are excellent. beer selection and bread are great too!

well, if you order mutton rogan ghost on "spice level 6" and what you get is, +lamb+ in (sweet) "butter chicken" type curry, you do not have to think twice before rating this place as 2.0 , which is only for the cut onion and lemon salad they gave us on our request. thanks!

staffs were quite courteous which is an added plus for this restaurant..

ambiance is pretty ordinary. food is really good though. one of the best indian restaurants(food-wise) in columbus. perhaps the only place that serves kingfisher beer.

when i had moved to usa this is my first indian restaurant.
i like its palak & butter chicken.
nan and gheera rice are as usual & i don't see any good options for veggie people.

dr. eddie rodgers. i had the buffet today. i thought that it was excellent but the customer service was horrible. this was my first time eating in an indian restaurant. absolutely, nobody was pleasant or friendly; like i was supposed to eat there or had no other choice. when leaving, i expressed that this was my first time there. no thanks for coming, i hope that you enjoyed the food. after leaving, i googled other indian restaurants and i discovered that there are many others. i won't go back to this one. they can't all be this bad. if all you have is a good menu, you're in trouble because there're others, which have the same. if you don't have friendly customer service then you don't have anything.

i thought the good was excellent and reasonably priced for the large portions you receive. i like spicy food and got a 3/6 spiciness for my food and it was perfect. my friend had level 4 spicy and it was still good but you need to have water handy. in my opinion the scale would be (1-mild seasoned but no pepper, 3-i like a little kick, 6-eyes burning/nose running...i'll pay for this later hot). great service, nice atmosphere, i definitely recommend for dinner with friends, family, or a date. i've heard the lunch buffet is fantastic!

if you don't show up an hour before close, prepare for rude servers.. the first time we thought it was a fluke, but the second time shows that the wait staff have one priority: rushing you out the door! my co-workers and i enjoy a lunch out every few weeks and have gone for the buffet twice. the first time we showed up pretty close to closing time, but this second time, we left extra time to avoid the same experience. both times we were told the hours and rushed to finish. this second time, the waiter remembered us and mentioned that he remembered us and that we came in at 2:10 last time. if your posted hours say lunch until 2:30, then don't tell people they can't be seated if they show up before your posted hours. we're all wearing our id badges, and are clearly on lunch for work. trust us, we need to be out in less than a half hour anyways! despite loving this restaurant and the quality of food, i don't think we'll be returning, since clearly we'll receive mediocre service every time we go.
