amazing!!! my boyfriend and i recently moved to the area, and we were craving some delicious mexican food... and, this place definitely provided that! :-) i had a salad and my boyfriend had their huge burrito, he is extremely picky, and he could not stop commenting on how great it was! we will definitely be going back soon!

tried to go here for breakfast but there was just one waitress for all the tables. waited, took a seat, got up to get our menus, waited ten minutes more. left. will not waste my time again.

carned asada burrito for lunch. big and tasty - a deal at 6.95. lunch is very busy

i ordered the enchiladas verdes and it was quite good. service was excellent and prompt. prices are reasonable and i would visit again

fresh tortillas instead of chips = bonus! tamales are my litmus test. both pork and chicken were flavorful and had great texture. my husband gave a thumbs up on his choices. our server was friendly and efficient. we'll be back to explore more of the menu.

surprisingly good! authentic flavors. not your run-of-the-mill mexican restaurant. the service was very friendly and the food was better than expected. we have returned many times.

bland food without taste. enchiladas were ok but no spiciest to them & the sauce overall with little flavor. no chips & salsa. overall disappointing.

very tasty, reasonably priced, authentic, quaint, good service. we went in around 1:30pm so we missed the lunch rush. the server was busy prepping for the next meal but was still attentive to our needs. we will return.

terrible service, food not that great.. the food is not that great but the service is terrible. the manager was rude and unfriendly. when i pointed out that they had overcharged me for my lunch, the manager refused to acknowledge that the menu price was the correct price. instead she made up a price and insisted that i pay it. when i refused she threatened to call the police on me. i should point out that this was all over one dollar.

adorable place but food was cold. food was cold. when i pointed it out i was told they could re heat it but the lettuce would wilt. i assume they intended to microwave it. i just took it to go and removed the lettuce before heating it at home. it was good food but disappointing service.

quite tasty. i had the special today at lunch: red bean burrito with shredded beef. the homemade chips were great, as was the tangy salsa.

meh. my husband and i walked to amelia's tonight for dinner, after reading all the good reviews. i ordered something from the "vegetarian" side of the menu, and since it came with avacado, i asked to get it on the side so i could give it to my husband. well they thought they would be nice and added a big slab of salty "steak" to my dish. the avacado came on my food, not on the side (which is okay, i picked it off), but then in addition they charged me extra for a side of guacamole??? my husband ordered mole enchiladas.. he didn't care for them. both of our plates were luke-warm, not hot. the best part about the whole meal was the appetizer (tortillias with fresh spicy salsa). i might go again someday, but definitely not anytime soon.

found treasure in hillsboro.. the place is lacking in many ways visually but can mama cook? the food is very tasty and worth a drive or trip on the train to hillsboro. daily lunch special will rock you and set you a fire with homemade salsas.
