place is good. theviewfrom the top is good. the place is romantic. but the management has made that place unromantic by loud music, which is actually not required.

let's come to the food and drinks. menu is minimum, which is fine but not all the taste buds are covered. it is more of sophisticated menu. now on drinks, the alcohol content in lit was more than necessary.

a little suggestion, don't make a romantic place unromantic by loud music, make your food menu to cover everyone's taste bud and have a great day.

i had gone for an office get together of approx 35 people. the place has a breathtakingviewof the  area and is much above the ongoing metro construction.

decor wise, this place is on the roof top and quite spacious with one side kept for large groups and the other side for a la carte. a swimming pool is in the center.

the  a la carte has a reasonable choice and with standard prices (not too much not too little). service is fine.

for our group we had negotiated buffer dinner with unlimited drinks. the bartender coped quite well with the rush of people.
there were continious starters and a very limited dinner items which might suit some. food is okay, i will not call it exceptional and just about average.

the main reason for going there would be the fabulousviewand the general ambience

this roof top restaurant provides you with luxurious dining experience at teh poolside along with a stunningviewof the city. men don't forget to wear covered shoe else they won't allow you in sandals. they specialise in finger food and a bit expensive. they have special packages if you want to celebrate your dear one's special day in such ambience.

visited yesterday evening.. crowd was less as it was just opened. ambiance andviewfrom roof top is good. food: i have ordered grilled fish suggested by saravanan ( he suggested it though not in menu as i have asked something spicy- appriciate it) and lamb ribs of my choice. grilled fish was good choice and lamb dish was bad and disappointed. chef sagar came for enquiry on food and based on feed back he asked me to try another dish i think mangolian lamb.. it was awesome and i really appreciate the customer focus. if they didn't enquiry of my comfort on food i'm sure i wouldn't have turned back again.. now i'm sure i will visit it again.

ambience is mind blowing with fire and lights setup around the place. located on top of vr bengaluru mall this place gives aviewof the city around. coming to the food ,menu is very limited . taste is above par. ordered few mocktails . nachos was good. overall a good experience with the place and not so good with the food.

beautiful rooftopviewfrom the terrace of vr mall. live music and poolside is awesome. though there are limited options for vegetarians on the menu, the quality of food is good. the service is little slow, needs improvement. prior booking is recommended on the weekends.

visited this place on a saturday night. theviewfrom this place and the seating as well as ambience is quite good

however the service is horrible. they charge much more than the price mentioned in the menu for all items ( around 30 % is the tax plus other charges above the menu price ). all beer except budweiser premium were out of stock. zomato gold was declined

we were asked to bill the item first to get the order placed. i don't remember getting any bill

awesome ambiance on the open terrace with dim lighting and great seating. very goodviewof the busy whitefield. the service is great and the staff are really polite. the food is basically bar food which is exceptional. we had a few chicken starters and the lamb chops was one of the best i’ve had in a long time. the drinks might be a little expensive but they are premium so not a big problem there.

amazing place for a smashing experience with your better half. theviewfrom this place is phenomenal and the food is delicious. the staff is extremely considerate and know when to leave you alone at the right moments. the menu options could be a bit more expansive.

located at the skydeck of the waverley, the rooftopviewis probably the best feature about this place. it helps with the fact that it’s located at vr bengaluru, one of my favorite places to shop in the city. you can come here in the late evening for drinks after a good old shopping session.

they don’t have many options for food but i was fairly satisfied with their fish orly. the drinks they serve here are top-notch, loved their long island. the place is beautiful and you get a spectacularviewby your table.

rooftop places have always been people's favorite and this one in particular has been in my bookmarks ever since it opened at the terrace of vr mall. after a long day of shopping, we decided to treat ourselves at this iconic place.

ambience :

the place being a rooftop one, welcomes you with a gush of cold breeze. located on the 8th floor, this gives a very beautifulviewof the surrounding areas especially at night. they have a long bar in the middle in front of which there is a very comfortable couch seating available. towards the left side, there is a very romantic kind of seating available which is done in a bed-cum-tent shape. one has to remove their shoes, a wooden tray will be kept in front of you, where one can enjoy a dreamy candle light dinner with their loved ones. towards the right side of the place there is a huge infinity pool, on sides of which high tables are there covered with umbrella sheds, this will be a perfect place for brunches. the place is dimly lit, with a continuously burning gas-torch kinda thing in the middle, which although looks really exotic but is definitely a wastage of fuel.

food and beverages:

coming to food, they have a very limited menu, and especially very few options if you are a vegetarian. they mostly have bar bites in the options, being a drinking only place.
we started with championes portobello romesco which was basically a cutlet of parmesan stuffed baked portobello mushrooms served with catalonia red pepper sauce. the dish was tasty but very messy to eat, as it was getting disintegrated while picking, probably not set properly.

my company tried turkiye murgh-e-potli and chicken ariash dishes and found these to be really good.

for drinks, we tried la passion and berry excited cocktails. la passion was a sparkling wine and gin based cocktail mixed with passion fruit and grapefruit bitter. it was mildly concentrated and the quantity was bit disappointing. berry excited was a vodka based drink with cranberry and orange campari foam. this was alcoholic in the right amount and had a a really good sweet and sour flavor. this is a must try here.

for mains, i had to try the only option i had - truffled macaroni fondue which was basically a mac and cheese pasta, combination of three cheese and served with small breadlets which were sweet. initially, the pasta tasted fine, but gradually it became sweeter and sweeter, especially the after taste. the waiters were kind enough to get us some real garlic bread for me to fight with the over-sweetness, but it failed miserably. then the most unfortunate thing happened, i started feeling pukish as i kept on having the pasta. i tried to control, and i started feeling sick on the way back. finally, when i reached home, it all came out and i got really sick for the next full day as well. i feel pasta was the culprit here, either the over sweetness or there was something in it. the rating is purely based on this unfortunate thing that happened to me. they should really check up on their ingredients i feel.

service and costing:

the staff is humble and friendly and addressed our grievances really well. the place is medium expensive for food while the drinks are pretty expensive than the general norms.

all in all, a good place to have a luxurious splurging night, though i will avoid it because of the incident.

3 star only coz of the location,viewand the decor .. didn't like the mapo tofu for the hardness of the tofu that was served . taste was okay . the tables are wobbly and since they are made of plastic , the top isn't levelled which was dropping the cutlery outside the plates ..all in all the terraceviewof this side of the city is lovely at night from that height hence the experience too.. can go back only for that!

the restaurant is located at the roof top of the vr bengaluru mall. just enter the elevator and hit sd to reach the right floor.
as soon as you exit the elevator, a fancy chandelier will catch your attention. as you step out of that area, you would be right under the sky. to your left you will find lots of tables, some with sofas and some with underlit table tops. if you walk straight from the elevator, you will see a beautiful pool and some seating around it. the entire restaurant gives you greatviewof the skyline. its difficult to not like the ambience of the place.
i asked for a table for two and got one of those underlit table-top tables. the restaurant has some vegetarian options but predominantly the fare is non vegetarian. wanting to have veg food, we ordered paneer gatari and nachos. we didnt order any drinks. the server was quick to get us the food. the food itself didn't seem to be a lot different than what you would get in other places. i can say i have tasted better versions of both dishes elsewhere. the portion size was just enough. the prices for things we ate were a tad bit on the higher side. being a fancy restaurant in one of the poshest malls in bengaluru i would expected more. if not for the ambience i would have rated it 3.

great terrace lounge and very good customer service. has a very niceviewof the city and ambience. menu is reasonably priced for a terrace lounge of this type.
