a positive experience the food was great and staff was friendly. the only problem was there is limited seating inside the restaurant. but not a deal breaker. i will return for more food!

fried chicken and brown sugar cornbread....yummy!. we had lunch there today. the fried chicken was fresh and hot...good flavor. the fried okra was very good and crunchy the owner brought out some of their special brown sugar cornbread......very very good.....almost like a dessert. the allean's punch was also very good and sweet like real southern sweet tea has to be.

will go back for sure.

lip smakin, finger lickin good. i just had the best fried chicken and fried fish i've had in a very long time. service was excellent and i love the homey atmosphere. i give allean's a standing ovation.

great food and service. my family and i have been supporting allean's s once they opened and we can't get enough. we appreciate their customer service and the fact they make your fries foods to order. we especially love the porkchop, ribs, peach cobbler, and brownsugar cornbread. if you're in or around columbia, you must go. each experience has been nothing short of amazing.

if they are open, you will probably get good food. so disappointed. love the food, people are friendly when i've gone in (some eat-in, some takeout) but have gone during posted hours to find a note that they were opening late. tried to call in an order for lunch and my husband was told they would open at 1:30 due because they were having a birthday party.

i'd would love to continue to give my support to this business - but it hard to recommend a place when you can't count on them being open during posted business hours.

recent customers (mr & mrs rose & richard williams). our meals at alleans were absolutely delicious . we were extremely pleased with the food as well as the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. we highly recommend this restaurant if you love good southern homecooking. we had to wait a little while because they cook to order but it was well worth the wait. my husband had the flounder. he said it was so flaky that he thought it was freshly out the water. i had the fried wings. they were awesome. and the sides: you have to try the macaroni and yams; they were mouth watering. definitely don't leave without eating that great moist cornbread and homemade peach cobbler. we can't wait to go back. we love allean's!!!

fried fish. perfectly seasoned and piping hot.....think fish fry!!! yum!!!

i will definitely go again :). this food was really good! i had the fried fish and it left me wanting more. i also chose the cornbread over the roll, and it was a good choice. if you like sweet cornbread, then you have to try a piece. this is a great spot for take out, and i can't wait to try more items on the menu. i would have posted a picture, but i didn't think about it until after i devoured my plate :)

bottom line, i will definitely go back again, and again, and again! enjoy!

great food. this was my first visit and it was less than an hour before closing. i got there too late for the menu special item but got the fried chicken and pork chop plates instead. this was the best southern food meal i've had since being in sc. the service was great and i'm glad they cook the chicken and pork chops at time of order. well worth the wait. we had 5 different side items between the two plates and everything was so good. we will be regular patrons. best of all they are in walking distance for me.
