had been waiting to give this place a try for a very long time, but boy was i disappointed today. found several bone and cartilage pieces in the chicken pasta. did not expect this quality from a supposedly "fancy" restaurant. almost broke a tooth!

alfresco you're really good in managing quality the alfredo penne was really good and worth. the green happy mojito was good but need to improve garnishing. ambience is good and sitting is extremely comfortable. had a warm welcome that was also good.

haven't written a review for a while now, but this place definitely deserves one. went to eat an evening snack. we ordered vegetable lasagna and chocolate crepes. both were disappointing.vegetable lasagna was brought cold and the crepes were flavourless with hardly any chocolate. really liked the ambiance though. hope they can improve their food quality and taste to match it.

i had started visiting this restaurant few weeks back and i love the thai preparations here (veg), however i was not impressed by the dessert "blueberry crepe stack" , it was slimy and tasteless and i don't like wasting food but this i couldn't gulp even. tempting it looked but it didn't tempt my taste buds to even consume it after a spoon. its a good place in terms of ambience and hospitality but this prep totally upset me.
please work on this.

a nice place that serves very decent italian food. i’ve been to this place twice (both on weekends) and it’s very sad to see it almost empty. the place has spent a lot on its interiors and furniture. though the food may not compare to la kuchina in standards, it is remarkable and not so heavy on the pocket. while some dishes like lasagna and pasta were great, some lousiness was obvious in the starters and desserts. the main course has been awesome. i also tried a panini sandwich and it was great. for the taste and value it offers, i wish it saw more customers in its dine in.

ordered

1) crispy chicken slideres - these were amazing! chicken was soft and crunchy. the bun was fresh. wedges were really good too.

2) vegetables tempura - these were really good and crunchy. they had a little spiciness to it.

3) virgin mojito - exactly how it should be - mint and lemons with soda. really refreshing.

4) vegetable noodles - this was not that great. tasted ok. liked the vegetables they put but the sauce was not good.

5) herbed potato wedges - these were superb with the two sauces that they gave us! really tasty!

i had shubham as the wait staff and he was really polite and nice.

overly expensive & poor staff behaviour, but venue is nice , dishes are 2times more expensive & very little variety of dishes available , only continental is available .

if you're someone who loves to have food in very classy way then this place is for you.

highly recommended place 💯

we visited the place yesterday and ordered fiery chicken, cheesy spaghetti, crispy chicken bao and smoked chicken soup. first all, the presentation and ambiance was nice given the prices and taste is average. however, a big disappointment was the undercooked chicken in the bao and fiery wings, it was pink flesh colored from the inside and so difficult to pull apart! upon complaining and sending the dishes back to the kitchen we received the same dish just warmed up and slapped with such a spicy sauce that it was impossible to consume it. we ended up leaving both the dishes untouched. upon telling the management about the same they just assured that this won't happen again and didn't offer us any replacement or reduction from the bill and so we ended up paying a good amount of money for dishes that we didn't even consume.

my first experience was real bad and i am not likely to return here anytime in the future.

chilli garlic prawns @alfrescobhopal
decently cooked prawns in a surprisingly pleasant chili-garlic sauce, over a bed of (unfortunately undercooked) herbed rice.

while i'm (really) not a fan of this particular dish, i'm definitely impressed by the modern continental vibe of the menu. maybe the dish i had was a miss, but surely looking forward to trying other beautiful dishes from their menu!

probably gonna rate it a 2.5/5.

the food really surprised me! most restaurants in bhopal usually don’t give much thought to the presentation but not at alfresco- the presentation was really clean and minimalistic. veg tempura was absolutely crispy and well seasoned. lasagna had by far the best marinara sauce i have tasted anywhere. the only odd one out was the spaghetti aglio e olio which was absolutely bland, no flavour whatsoever, bland to the point that we had to add sauce from the lasagna to the aglio e olio.

the menu has no set sequence, me and my friend had to search for vegetarian options which were randomly placed between the non-vegetarian options. also, interiors can be made a little lively, the interiors were definitely the weakest point.

1. ordered crispy fried chicken bao, herbed potato wedges, butter chicken risotto and iced tea.
2. the wedges were good.
3. the bao was very average and nothing to write home about.
4. the butter chicken risotto was thick, consistent in texture and great in taste.
5. quantity was sufficient for every single item that i ordered.
6. pricing is reasonable.
7. ambiance is great. never seen any restaurant in this price bracket offering such ambiance.

cozy restaurant with modern decor, which is a good change from all the shabby chic restaurants popping up all over the city. the food is so, so good! the idea of chicken risotto might sound scary, but it's really nice. the soups are served with small slices of bread drizzled with pesto sauce, which is extremely tasty. the staff is a little slow, but these issues happen with new places, and are usually sorted out soon. will go to try the new menu they came out with!
