1st time here. this place is great!! my girlfriend and i went here after shooting at the gun range next door and the food was really good, we both ordered clubhouse grille sandwich and fries waitress was super friendly, fast service, and very convent! we will defiantly come back!!!

christina waitperson was fun and nice. she took our order and food was exactly what we wanted and it was fast. i just love this place. it is a hole in the wall and that not bad.

great food and service! reuben is highly recommended. turkey sandwich is good if you like avocado. they are known for breakfast. service was friendly and fast. fun atmosphere. tv are on to watch sports games.

great little local hole in the wall. ruben sandwich was superb. cuban sandwich pretty good. place is eclectic- just the way it ought to be.

good food, smells a bit. my husband, stepdaughter and i met up with an old friend of my husband’s at alfred’s. i would have loved to have eaten in the front part that is a black and white tiled diner. unfortunately, they weren’t seating there for sunday brunch. instead, we were taken to the back bar room. it had dark and rather boring décor. the back room has a stale odor. i was mildly annoyed by the scent but my stepdaughter found it offensive.

the food was quite good. i really enjoyed my crab omelet. the portions were very large.

our server was nice and polite.

great breakfast. this place is phenomenal!

it is has been declared my wife and i the new favorite breakfast spot!

this place used to be great, but the quality has slipped lately. they used to have an oyster stew that was their signature dish, but have removed it from their menu along with other selections. the quality of drinks have also slipped. i had the blandest bloody mary there i have ever had. the service and the ambiance was good i think they are relying on their proximity to the tacoma dome to bring in customers, rather than having good food.

like it. pros: its next to the gun store/range. its has good oyster stew and big salads. there is a painting of a naked woman in the mens bathroom, because its an old brothel.

worse than bad-they don't care. stopped by without consulting urbanspoon; won't happen again! we had 1 hour before meeting a friend for a quick visit at the train station nearby. sat down in the mostly empty tile diner room, and eventually a dis-interested waitress took our orders. we got to listen to the cook and waitress banter that carried on for the next 50 minutes. i have never had potatoes o'brien, an english muffin, 2 pancakes and 2 eggs over-easy take 50 minutes to prepare before. the eggs sat under the heat lamp for 20 minutes, while the rest of the order was made. the food was worse than bland. we ate as much as we could as quickly as we could. we asked for the bill before we got our food since we could tell things were going slow. finally after waiting as long as possible, i went to get another waitress to take my card so we could pay and leave.

less than mediocre breakfast.. i had the steak and egg breakfast. the steak was overdone, with no seasoning and it had an odd liver-like aftertaste. my son had pancakes, which were underdone and quite flavorless. the coffee was watery and hard to come by and i hate to say it, but the waitress was fairly forgetful. i will not dine there again. i had previously (recently) dined there for dinner and was not impressed, but wanted to give breakfast a try.

bad service - okay food. we have received terrible service 3 out of 4 visits. the waitress are very inexperienced and do not know the first thing about service. the parking is very limited. however, once you get your food it is not bad.

great place to eat or have a drink. great food with a beautiful bar and the staff are always friendly.
