aladdin's eatery

i travel for work to akron and liked the taste better. but the real quality comes out only under trouble right?
i did order vegetarian chili for take out , being a strict vegetarian all my life and asked the cashier multiple times about whether it is vegetarian when i was picking up my order. when i come back to my hotel and start heating up the soup , the next day i find something weird for vegetarian soup. it smelled funny and could see pieces floating around. when i called the restaurant before they closed, they didn’t even have the courtesy to confirm whether the pieces are meat or not and wanted me to wait for another day for their response. imagine how you would feel about closing time and most of the places are shutdown.
i’m never eating there again.

i enjoyed the food at aladdin's. i started with an appetizer of falafel, simply the best i've had in a long time. the falafel had a great crisp crusty outside, moist and flavorful (well seasoned) inside; served with a seasoned yogurt dipping sauce.
for my entree i had a difficulty deciding; the menu is very encompassing. after asking if i could substitute lamb (i offered to pay a cost difference) in the shawarma plate, and was denied, i settled on the lamb roll. the lamb roll was very tasty, served in a pita wrapped with tomatoes, onions and a yogurt sauce.

my only complaint is that my server seemed very inflexible to my requests. i wanted to try several appetizers and half orders were not acceptable. an appetizer sample is available, but being i visited as a party of one, the fault probably lies with me.

i would visit aladdin's again, a great treat to find a taste of the middle east and mediterranean in akron.

yum. i've never been disappointed by the food or the service. everything on the menu is incredible. i highly recommend it to anyone who loves middle eastern food or likes to try something new.

i order the hummus at aladdin’s every time i go, whether it’s for a sit-down meal at the restaurant or a to-go lunch. it’s a very smooth, simple hummus with a light sesame flavor and bright lemon notes. the fresh, warm, thin pita that comes with it makes the perfect dipper.

i just love this place so much! the rolled pitas are to die for. all the food is fresh and the prices arnt bad. the service is quick and the servers are really nice! this is my favorite spot!

if chains can be good, this is. i was impressed by the friendliness and food. good pita, baba, dawali, hummus, etc.

great food at good prices. wonderful dawali, soups and baba. kids options are better than most places, with fresh fruit accompanying many kids' dishes. we are grateful for those healthier options!

date night. first time eating here. really enjoyed the food. the sfiha was amazing! the watress was not very good but the other people seemed to get better service. she did not seem to be very helpful to new customers

fresh great food. food is always fresh and tasty. i've never had a bad meal at aladdins. if you don't drink wine or one of their teas (which is good but over 2$) you can get out of the place pretty cheaply. when i'm at work and feeling cheap/poor, i always go for lunch. you can get a great healthy bowl of soup for under $5.00. i must warn you, if you are a small child or old person, you may not like this place. there is garlic and food filled with flavor but if you like flavorful food - you should like aladdins!

quick, friendly service and fresh, flavorful food. we got the vegetarian platter appetizer, aladdin's kebob wrapped, and the chicken pitza...all wonderful! two tips: you've got to try a side of their hot sauce, and bring mints as things can be deliciously garlicy!

in the restaurant business you need to provide service and care for your customers. this company refuses. i will never eat in an alladin's even though i love middle eastern food. having grown up in detroit i been famaliar with aribic food forvdecades. in detroit if you wish a small fattoush and tabouli they are happy to accomodate with a smile on their face. at alladin's they refuse. these salads to be enjoyed are best when eaten fresh. to take the leftovers homecis a total waste because it all becomes soggy and discusting. good bye alladin's forever. if you want service and good arabic food go someplace else

mediterranean magic. i love the soups, the yummy vegetarian appetizer platter, and the delicious garlic sauce. they recently started adding turnips to many of their selections. i like turnips, but i prefer the non-turnip versions.

forgot our side of cheese, changed the chicken chili and made the pitzas smaller. come on aladdins!
