good food but it took 2 hours to deliver

horrible taste mistake made in order not worth it at all

i have tried their dolama, it was very tasty and it came with bread, i also like their shawarma and it quickly became my favourite shawarma, i will be sure to order from this restaurant again soon.

and a platter which had holous baba ghanouj cabb age and veggies
another platter which had veggies
and the dolma
the restaurant is very generous and the amount of food can feed up to 3 persons .
and they have fasst delivery although it was far !!

went for a dine in. ambience and service is good. ordered a mixed grill. the salad, soup, bread, roti everything that came with it was great. but if you want hummus you have to pay extra and get it which i found to be little weird. food is not very spicy, considering it to be an iraqi place, i am guessing it's normal. cooked well, juicy too. little pricey but the experience is good.

average food and over priced for what is served. mixed grills have lot of liver grilled and no lamb chops. i expect lamb chops and real meat when i order mixed grill which costs 60 aed. also no hummus with grilled food. i think this place is over-rated even with 3.3 rating.

i went with 3 of my other friends to this place, we ordered for grilled chicken and a plate of hummus.

while we waited for our main course, the starter lentil soup was served to the two of us, when asked for the other 2 who were with us. the waiter refused stating only 2 soup is served for one grilled chicken!!!

i have been visiting this place for a year now and never before were we treated so badly.

if the table is for 4 people....who the hell serves only 2?are the remaining 2 customers supposed to just sit and stare?

they served the grilled chicken but forgot about the 2nd dish

when we asked for it, they said it was never ordered!!!

later we asked for ketchup, that again was handed over to another table, when we asked for the 2nd time, the gentleman told us its served to another family. what are we supposed to do than, wait until the other table doesnt finish their share of ketchup?

the food was good and filling but service was pathetic and left us with s bad experience.

the waiter for our table was a young arrogant guy, clearly he has chosen the wrong profession to be in.

not fit for customer service

the service was great..everyone polite and efficient.the restaurant matches in style, elegance and ambience. we went for lunch. the buffet spread was fantastic with food from all around. must try :)

i have ordered two times from this place. we ordered the mix grilled platter and chicken charcoal. even though it's an iraqi restaurant it was good. the chicken did have some spices. food is on point. just that their service is horrible. my house is right next to this building and they took 2.5 hours to deliver. another issue which we faced is that their staff is arab and they face lot of difficulty understanding english. it becomes difficult to communicate. i was disappointed with their service. food was good though.

went for a dine-in here. the place is nice with decent interiors. it was my 1st time here. i ordered chicken shawarma lebanese bread. it was dry and i struggled to finish it. for the mains i had half grilled chicken which was okay and i had custard for dessert which was good. servers were attentive and the service was excellent!

over all one of the best dinning out experience we have had in a long time, the warm welcoming quick service.
we loved it and its highly recommendable

al karam al iraqi is a new restaurant located in al mahatta area opposite emirates nbd bank. i visited the restaurant over the weekend and i am going to visit them again.
i liked the restaurant interiors, it was clean and nice. it gave me positive vibes.
there were iraqi songs being played in the background.
the staff service was impressive.
they quickly served us the complimentary dish followed by salad and then the main course. we ended the meal with a classic dessert "konafa".

i feel the quantity of the dish was less. their was a single kabab, chicken cubes, and mutton cubes.
i added .5 specially for the kabab. it was moist and tasted good.
p.s. i wish they had served more kababs in the platter.

we ordered cream konafa which was tasty but not the best i have had.
note: they have a fish bbq sigdi where they bbq the iraqi fishes caught from the river.
over all a nice experience. do try them!

i had a marvellous evening, a great meal and was probably the last to leave. i met such nice people there, the staff and other customers, and will certainly be making a bee line for this place the next time i am in town. can't wait!
