we went for lunch on a saturday and had a two year old with us. they have a separate section for families. the wait staff was very attentive, he conveyed all our specifications for the toddlers meal exactly in the kitchen. we were served with a plate of complimentary green salad. an orange juice and mutton chilly fry (ironically non spicy) but with soft mutton pieces for the baby were readily custom made even though they weren't on the menu. the mutton chilly was not excessively covered with corn flour, was still flavourful and the meat was tender. the malabar parathas are also awesome, soft yet flaky. chicken 65 biryani was good, except it came with one half of an egg and we've had better, but it wasn't bad. we also tried a pomfret rava fry, the fish was marinated with lovely spices- we got hints of ajwain, lemon, curry leaves and was fresh-faced we had to have another. we were told they've got a chef from bombay to make authentic indian chinese, we will try that the next time. fo dessert we had kaddu kheer which the husband ordered and i wasn't looking forward to- but was pleasantly surprised to find it creamy with the right amount of sweetness.
apart from the kind, thoughtful service we were happy with the prices too. all of this for less than 100aed. will be definitely going back and ordering from here.
thank you for a relaxed perfect saturday lunch. couldn't fault anything or any dish!
