good food but poor service leaves a bad taste...... been a loyal customer for years, even with the slow service, i thought the wait was worth it. within the past couple of years the prices were noticeably increased and the service so poor i'm embarrassed to have ever recommended it to anyone. this evening when i brought my concerns to the waitress, she gave nothing but excuses and attitude, no apologies or discount even when we waited close to 45 min for our cold food and our order was taken incorrectly, a complete disappointment and really no manager to speak to

wow, that was great!. just went for the first time under the recommendation of two different friends. holy moly, that was a great meal. i spent $35 which included stuffing myself silly, a margarita and tax and tip, which i didn't think was very expensive. we had pupusas, tacos, tamales, and tortillas. everything was delectable and the green sauce is a great condiment. we also had a lovely server. there were a number of other parties as well. recommended.

worst service i have ever had . if it wasn't for the food i would never go back to this place . they should really hire some new wait staff n tell them to smile for once . a couple came in n sat behind our table and never even got acknowledge , well they left after waiting 20 minutes . this place can do so much better with better service .

was a good meal 5 years ago!. yeah 5 years ago this place was a decent place to eat...now well price have gone way up...no value, microwave nachos with beans and cheese for 12 bucks combo plate for 15, 3 small meet tacos for 11 bucks.......sionara acajutla.

i ask and they said yes.... i dare anyone to find a place that will make you what you want, when its not on the menu. i asked for my favorite, huevos con chorizo, and the cook said yes. sincere friendly service, excellent food, generous portions. home made tortillas. i don't know where all these comments about bad service come from, we had excellent service, on the way home we actually talked about how nice it was to find a place with nice servers. i'm glad i never read these reviews cause i would never had dared to go there. we're going there again.

i love the food here, just wish they would get new staff. they are sooooooo rude it's unbelievable. this one lady that always serves us i don't even know her name, always takes forever to give us out menus... to ask for our drinks.. and to bring out the food. i'm sure everyone agree that the wait for the food is way too long and the staff is not friendly what so ever. i recommend el rancho, it's a long wait sometimes too but atleast the staff is so friendly!!

..not a mexican restaurant. for sure not a mexican restaurant, not even close.
worst service, the worst food ever not taste at what so ever, not mexican at all, and a ridiculous price

hidden gem in sketchy neighbourhood. went here with a friend for the second time, even better than the first. we enjoyed the tortilla soup, mixed pupusas with house-made pickled cabbage and hot sauce, and a mixed combo with tosatada, pastele and tacos. it was all very authentic and high quality, obviously fresh and homemade. we also had the flan for dessert, with pecans and caramel syrup. highly recommended!

food was delicious! i'll be going back in summer and will write a linger review but for now all i can say is i enjoyed my visit and meal.

food good but not worth putting up with the atmosphere. not one smile from staff and we seemed to be keeping them from something else they would rather be doing.

this place is great.. a bit of a seedy area, but the food is amazing! the pupusa are wonderful! the margaritas are fantastic! i have yet to find a place that is even close! the guacamole sauce is unreal! if you like mexican/slavadorian food this place is the real deal!
