i had a takeout order at this restaurant. if you really want to have really spicy food then this place is to be avoided. i had ordered a spicy chole with extra green chillies in it. what i got is two separate green chilies (possibly to sniff) as a side dish.
the preparation was good but my taste buds on the indian side of spiciness were totally disappointed. the naan was nicely done and so was the rice.
to add insult to injury the chole had sugar to it.
i think it is best to avoid this place if you are someone from the subcontinent.

was visiting the come museum and came across this restaurant .we came across this place while walking by post our aerial view ride and after looking at the name which sounded bengali my husband wanted to go there . when we came across the menu it's really huge with full of north indian cuisine, bengali cuisine, chats and some parsi cuisine also. since not hungry we had there hot coconut soup and musoor dal soup both were piping hot and delicious . had there togo fish that too was good.servicd by the staff was really good . only suggestion would be if possible to add a tea because bengali restaurant cannot complete without a cup of tea😊

the food was very tasty. the yellow dal was awesome. but the only thing i did not like was they serve you in disposable plates and bowls. they had nice hindi songs playing all the time. felt like home after long time in atlanta.

i was traveling with indians who stay in the usa, so for them this was a godsend. we all loved this place. the cuisine in distinctly south asian, it is in fact run by a bangladeshi. i had the goat vindaloo with rice. all the items were properly spicy as is expected from any south asian joint in the american south. each one of us had some item to do with goat, as of course that is a rare delicacy not too common in the usual american palette. the lamb shaag and the lamb bhoona are truly worth trying out. we even packed back some of the food, as it was so good, so we wanted to have it later.

i have experienced the food here through online orders only, so can't speak of the ambience and service. however the food here is really great, my favourite will be mix veg korma, samosa and naan. the price is reasonable for the quantity of food. would order again probably.

dead roach in my chicken curry!

it is a horrible place. no one should order any food from this aamar indian cuisine. i ordered a chicken curry and a naan from this restaurant while i was visiting atlanta. i found a dead roach in my chicken curry. then i called the restaurant back. a guy answered the call and he can't speak english. everything i say he says yeah, yeah, yeah, only english word he knows. i have tried to explain to him that i have a dead roach in my food. he starts speaking hindi i guess! i asked his name he does not want to give his name. finally, i got his name so far shanju or something like that. this guy probably an undocumented. he did not do anything but hung up on me. i called back and he hung up again.

i would never recommend anyone to order any food from this restaurant. it is horrible! this is my horror story in atlanta!

amazing. really. there are no words. this is soul-warming, down-home indian food. had the goat shaag panir with peas polao and garlic naan with a mango lassi for dessert. they make their own panir. i am not sure what other magic they perform in their kitchen, but for this hungry traveler, this meal was beyond perfect. plastic cutlery, generous portions, bollywood music piped throughout, locals that come and go without any idea how mind-blowingly exceptional this food is. best indian food. ever. you're welcome.
