this place is an absolute gem for sichuan food lovers! the hand pulled noodles are a must - the flavours and textures are vibrant and rich. be warned that even the medium spicy can be very hot for the uninitiated. can’t go past the milk buns either - perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. it can be super busy at times but worth the wait.

i really loved the wonton soup and dan dan mian. also their little bites are really good! had the calamari and it was fantastic! the batter and the salt were well done, and it wasn't too dry, still a bit moist inside. excellent!

i had the vegan suan la fen and it was the best noodle soup i’ve ever had. all the flavours were delicious and it’s just what you want on a cold day! sadly i don’t live near this restaurant but i can’t wait to go back another time just for those noodles!!

lots of vegan choices. anything with fried tofu here is a winner. the fried taro balls are my favorite dessert (without the condensed milk, of course). crunchy on the outside, soft and gooey inside. especially good when it’s cold outside. yum, yum, yum

loved the hand pulled, home made noodles with chicken broth 🍜 dish for $10. great portions with flavourful spices 🌶 and the noodles were perfectly cooked. chicken 🍗 pieces also had a nice kick to it.

definitely recommend if you want fresh and home made noodles.

handpulled noodles in chicken broth + crispy squid tentacles are my go to. delicious and packed with flavour. i could seriously swim in the broth, though the pool would end up empty.

true to their name, a taste of home serves up some truly delicious flavours for an amazingly affordable price! we had the soy glazed pork belly on rice, and zhajiangmian (black bean noodles). the pork belly was tender and had a great umami flavour, and the vegetables fresh. the noodles were cooked to perfection, and had a great sauce-vege-noodle ratio.

went there just before they opened and there were already 2 people waiting 👀 had a big afternoon snack before that so i couldn’t order much food but their yo po mian was awesome! $10 but it’s bowl full of goodness. hand pulled noodles were nicely cooked and chewy. i actually loved their spiced egg so much and i would have ordered more if i wasn’t that full:)

the yo po mian (hot oil noodles) are some of the most delicious things i’ve ever tasted. the milk buns are sooooo good too. basically like a perfect donut covered in condensed milk.

love this cheap eats place! good portion size for a good price and quality food. we ordered a hot and sour soup noodle w/ extra chicken, and a hot oil noodle w/ wonton.

the noodles were very well cooked, especially the hand pulled noodles - chewy and wholesome. the soup in the hot and sour noodles were fragrant and had a spicy kick, most importantly it wasnt oily even with the chilli oil.

the chicken bites were tender with a thin coating of crunchy batter, and had a spicy and tangy seasoning.

the wontons in the hot oil noodles had a delicious pork mince filling, and the accompanied spiced egg was nicely marinated.
