we tried 80/20 last night. the food was good and the prices were reasonable. they do a poor job of maximizing space, there was plenty of room to add tables. with that being said, at times our waitress was hard to find and although the appetizers were quick, the gap between their delivery and our entrees was slightly unreasonable. they seem to promote local sourcing. we liked their homemade alfredo served with the giant mozzarella sticks and highly recommend them. the potato skins were your basic skins, no wow factor. we each ordered different aioli on our fries, thinking it would be on the side to dip. the fries come coated in the aioli of your choice. none of the three packed any superb flavor. we ordered the uncle jesse, the redneck wellington, and mellow mushrooms. the menu states each burger comes with lettuce and tomato on the side although none of our entrees came out with either. mellow mushrooms, made at the restaurant, was a huge hit. this is not your run of the mill vegan burger. it is a healthy size patty on top of a delicious bun served with a herb aioli. the redneck wellington was a hit with my 14 year old, saving half for her lunch the next day. i opted for the uncle jesse. the idea of spinach, feta, and beef wrapped in filo dough sounded delicious. for the most part it was but slightly on the dry side and again, lacking any wow factor.
for the price and the alfredo dipping sauce, we will be back. the staff is friendly and they did an excellent job of staying on top of the wait list and getting tables seated. we will be in for brunch soon.
